Founded in Shanghai in 2020, Typha is named after the wild plant Typha Latifolia, which is vigorous yet calm.

We are an independent dancewear brand that extends the concept of artistry and practicality. Drawing inspiration from contemporary art and youth culture, Typha sets out to explore the symbiotic relationship with the evolving forces in the dance profession today.
